The mark on its own
A bound sheaf of wheat within a roundel — the gathered harvest. It speaks at once to the ministry's heart (disciples gathered, the field that is the world, "to the ends of the earth") and to the table where the gathered break bread. Used alone, it serves as the publisher's colophon — the small seal that marks each work as part of the library.

Usage
Keeping it consistent
A few simple rules
Clear space. Keep a margin of at least the height of the wheat band around the whole lockup; don't crowd it with other elements.
Minimum size. Don't render the emblem smaller than about 24 px (screen) or 8 mm (print), or the grains start to fill in.
Color. Prefer ink + gold on paper, or the reversed mark on ink. Use the solid monochrome (all ink or all gold) when only one color is available.
Don't stretch, recolor outside the palette, add effects, or rebuild the wordmark in a different typeface. "The" stays light; "Gathering" stays emphasized.
The colophon (emblem alone) now appears in the footer of every guide in the library, alongside the imprint name and thegathering.pt.
