What We Believe & Proclaim
The good news of Jesus Christ — and how we preach it.
There is one message at the center of everything we are and do: that God so loved the world He gave His own Son to rescue us. It is good news — the best news — and it is for you. Here it is, in six steps.
The message · in six movements
You were made by God and for God, to know Him and walk with Him. And the God who made you did not stay distant. In Jesus of Nazareth, God Himself came near — not merely a great teacher or prophet, but the eternal God in human flesh, who entered our world out of love.
To meet Jesus is to meet God. That is why everything turns on Him.
John 1:1, 14 — the Word was God, and became flesh · Colossians 2:9
Something has gone wrong — in the world, and in each of us. We have all turned from God and gone our own way. The Bible calls this sin, and it is not a small thing: it cuts us off from the God who is the source of life, leaves us under the power of darkness, and ends in death.
No amount of effort, religion, or good intentions can bridge that gap from our side. We need to be rescued.
Romans 3:23 — all have sinned · Isaiah 59:2 — sin separates · Romans 6:23
So God did for us what we could never do for ourselves. Jesus took our place on the cross. His blood paid the full price for our sin — washing us clean and opening the way back to the Father. At that same cross He stripped the powers of darkness of their hold over us.
And then He rose from the dead. Sin, death, and the devil are defeated. The rescue is finished, and it is offered to you as a free gift.
Ephesians 1:7 · 1 John 1:7 — the blood cleanses · Colossians 2:15 · 1 Corinthians 15:3–4
This gift cannot be earned; it is received by grace alone, through faith. Jesus' very first call was simple: repent and believe. To repent is to change your mind about sin and turn back toward God. To believe is more than agreeing He exists — it is entrusting your whole life into His hands.
Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. The door is open, and the invitation is to you.
Mark 1:15 — repent and believe · Ephesians 2:8–9 — by grace through faith · Romans 10:13
When you come to Jesus, you are not merely improved — you are made new. The word the Bible uses for “saved” means rescued, healed, delivered, and made whole. You are born again: forgiven, brought from death to life, set free from the grip of the enemy, and made a brand-new creation.
And Jesus does not leave you to live it on your own. He fills you with His Holy Spirit, who comes to dwell in you, to comfort and lead you, and to clothe you with power for a new life.
John 3:3 — born again · 2 Corinthians 5:17 — a new creation · Acts 1:8; 2:38–39
Coming to Jesus is the beginning of a whole life with Him, not just a single moment. We follow Him day by day — remaining close to Him, walking in the power and gifts of His Spirit, living free under His authority over sin and darkness, and growing alongside His people. That is why we gather.
The road has its trials, but you are not held by your own strength — He keeps those who are His. We endure to the end because He holds us fast.
John 15:4 — abide in Me · John 10:28 — none can snatch them · Hebrews 10:24–25 — gather together
If this good news is stirring something in you, you don't have to wait, and you don't have to find the perfect words. God is not far off. You can turn to Jesus right now, just as you are. If you're ready, you might pray something like this — and mean it from your heart:
A prayer to begin
“Jesus, I believe You are God, that You died for my sins and rose again. I'm sorry for going my own way. I turn from my sin and I trust my life to You. Wash me clean by Your blood, make me new, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I'm Yours now. Be my Lord and my Savior. Amen.”
If you prayed that and meant it, heaven rejoices over you. Welcome to the family of God. Now don't walk alone — the new life is meant to be lived together. We would love to hear from you, pray with you, and help you take your next steps. Reach out, and come and gather with us.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
